Shhh…it’s a secret!

Well, actually it’s just a fun way to recycle vocabulary with YLs.  Take three flashcards from various topics and stick them on the board facedown.  Then tell the students there’s a secret code and they have to guess what it is.  Tell them the first picture is an animal and elicit the vocabulary from them until they guess correctly.  Then turn the card around and draw a big star underneath.  Do the same with the other two cards.

It’s a fun activity as all the students want to try and guess what the card is and it reviews vocabulary they’ve learnt throughout the year.
