Draw a picture representing what you did at the weekend and get the students to ask questions about it to find out what happened.  Then get them to do the same activity in pairs and when they’ve found out all the details about their partner’s weekend, they can hold up the picture and report back to the class.  An excellent way to practise question forms and the third person!
