Team building body parts

This is a great activity which we used yesterday with a group of trainees as part of the “getting to know you” session – it’s a lovely activity which works well with any age group and it encourages people to work as a team and involve everyone in the class.

Tell students that you’re going to ask them to get into groups and that everyone in the class must be involved.  Then get them to stand up and choose a number and a body part, e.g. 15 toes, 7 knees, 10 eyes, etc.  As long as you do things which people have two of, you can generally make sure everyone is involved, and if it’s something like tummies or heads, just make sure you choose a number which is divisble into the number of students in the class.
